What's for lunch?

I am out of town today for training and forgot to pack my lunch. Do you have any ideas of what to eat that is low calorie? Thanks!

You can never go wrong with a salad. Zaxby's have the best salads...I just hate their salad dressing.

Not sure I have the stuff in office to make a pb&j but I didn't have any snacks like fruit or yogurt to go with it today. I may or may not pick something up since it's my payday.

If you're able to go out.....Panera has a banging 1/2 and 1/2 deal where you can get 1/2 a sammich and cup of soup for lunch, or salad and soup, or sammich and salad...you get the idea. otherwise....I'd suggest looking for some fruit and some peanut butter :)

Peanut butter sandwich for me today. I like the Subway or Panera suggestions though.

Yeah, just check the sodium content. One of the "healthy" 6-inch subs has over 1000mg of sodium. I can't remember which one it is, but it's the one that made me cross off Subway as a lunch choice. I'll go look up which sandwich has all that soduim.. brb

Okay, it's the Sweet Onion and Chicken Teriyaki = 1000mg sodium

Oh, here's the complete nutrition chart for all the Subway sammies.

Low fat chicken noodle at Panera.

I'm having soup today because breakfast was WAY too big.
  • I have tuna with jalapino hummus, but - my arm is being twisted toward McAlisters chef salad. I just know I'm ready for lunch NOW!
