I was so excited to step on the scale this morning and see it move in the right direction. I upped my calories last week to see if that would help me get off this stupid plateau and it did. My brain just couldn't wrap around the mind set of eating more. But I thougth hey it's worth a try. And it paid off. I am so glad I found a place that I can get support and have people to talk to that are going through the same problems. I still have a long way to go ( over 100 pounds) but I am happy to get this 20 pounds off.

Congrats!! It is hard to up your calories once you get in the "eating alot is what got me here" mode. I was stuck too..i was losing inches, but the scale wasn't moving as fast as it should've been..I upped my calories and i've lost 3 lbs in the past 4 days. I had to step on the scale..get off..shake the scale and then step back on before i believed it.

    Keep up the good work!!

Thanks for all the reply's. It is really nice that other people can see the changes going on. Sometimes you get stuck in that I am fat mentality and even though the scale is moving and your clothes are getting loose, you still feel like nothing has changed. Thank you.
