    In Illinois you can buy yout lotto tickets online. I think we are the only state. Insane.

    I'm probably going to buy just one later today.

    Thank god I work at a dog kennel and not a grocery store this year. It's a nightmare handing out lotto tickets during times like this!

    I like how people think that the more tickets they buy, the better the odds.

    It's cute, but not true.

    Of course it is true, the more number combinations you have the better your odds. You could buy every possible number combination for around $175 million and increase your odds to 100% but lord help you if someone else won and you had to split it then you would lose money.

    I've made a list.

    I also told my boss that I'd give him 2 weeks notice if I won because it would take at least that long to get things in place

    My boss pulled us all into a meeting this morning to talk about this...LOL! The conclusion was he was buying everyone in the office two tickets a piece...the catch is that if we win we have to split it amongst the office (between 12)! Yea....I'm okay with that. :) My husband also bought some....we already said we would open a gym!! :)

    I never heard of buying them online.

    Where I live (the city, not the state of Wisconsin), you can't even use a debit or credit card; cash only!
    I think the idea is to deter people from getting a gambling addiction lol

    The problem with this is if you win and all split the prise the boss is going to find he has no employees tomorrow morning. Maybe with his share he won't care if everyone is gone and the place closes down. :)
