To those who asked for advice or tips I used, I would have to make sure you lay out a detailed plan when you start. For myself, I set my final goal, a date I wanted to reach it by, and four mini goals with dates as well. This helped because it kept me on track, it was more of a segmented weight loss than one giant one in my mind.
The second thing I would say is, always be honest with yourself. There were those days when I wanted to cheat but I would always remind myself that this was something I've put a lot of time into and I didn't want to set myself back.
This may sound extreme, but the thing that drove me to the end was the fear of failing. Once I was a few months in and saw great results, there was no way I was going to let myself fail. I used this to stay motivated and it pushed me to finish.0 -

For those that asked, I'm 6'4". As for how I lost the weight, it was all dieting. I didn't start working out until I was almost at my goal. Now I either run or play basketball everyday. Now I wish I had worked out more during the weight loss, it would have sped up the process even more.0 -
