Burning too many calories in a week.

I have a MFP goal to burn 2,150 calories per week. I wear a heart rate monitor that also calculates my calories and so far I have burned 3,948 calories and I have two more days to go to complete a week. I have calculated up to 729 calories burned on one workout and that is not including the afterburn calories.

So here's the question: Is it dangerous to burn more calories in a week than is suggested? I also eat back some of the calories I burn (200-300) to prevent hunger. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

You should open up your diary so we all can better help you :)

Nope, it's not "dangerous". But depending on what your calorie level is, you might want to eat back a few more calories . It looks like you are eating back less than half (200-300) of what you are burning. Hunger is not always a reliable guide, unfortunately. (As many of us who eat too much, know to our peril.)

Are you wearing your HRM only when you work out, or all the time? MFP doesn't give you credit for burning calories until you enter them in. I think there's some confusion here.

I wear my HRM all the time because it's also a watch, but I only start the calorie counter/timer when I start working out. When I finish my workout I log them in.
