Alright, it's almost opening day. Let's generate some baseball talk. What is your favorite baseball movie and why?

1) The Natural (1984)

2) Two reasons.

(2.1) The movie contains one of my favorite quotes:

"Well, I believe we have two lives. The life we learn with and the life we live with after that." - Iris (Glenn Close) tells Roy (Robert Redford) that everyone makes mistakes.

(2.2) The word "natural" is one of my Top 10 favorite words.

    Ahhh, beisbol! I've liked all of them mentioned but A League of Their Own has a special place in my female heart. Haven't been any good baseball movies lately so it's time for another one to round the bases...:bigsmile:

    Agreed. It was a shame the sequels both stunk compared to the original.

    The Natural is one of my favorite all time movies, not just my favorite baseball movie.
    #2 is *61
    #3 is Major league

    The Sandlot... cause I grew up watching it. Actually like everyday one childhood summer.


    Never chew tobacco, swallow it, and ride amusement rides. Lesson learned. hehe
