Trying to pick milestones

I just crossed over to my first milestone: under 600 pounds. While I'm happy with the progress - 49.0 pounds in 16 days - I don't think the momentum will continue that fast. I know the next big thing that's going to make me feel awesome is going under 500, but that's likely a couple months out. Every 20 pounds sounds too frequent - I can swing 1-4 pounds in a day, so that could be a celebration as early as next week. How can I chop down the distance so it's not too long between goals and not too frequent to be inconsequential?

Would love any advice, personal stories, comments, etc. Thanks!

50 pound milestones? You can always have a few and adapt when planning the next round if milestones...

    No one has any ideas?
  • Fair enough. 50 pounds definitely feels like a milestone. Maybe that's a better way to go. Plan that the weightloss is going to continue to be pretty fast, at least for now. Ideally, it should be no more than a month and a half to the next milestone. And perhaps as soon as another 2-3 weeks.
