Ok, I need to be honest...

I have to be honest with myself, I need to keep my calories in check if I'm going to make my goal weight. I've been doing okay so far, but during the day I think all these little snacks don't add up until I make my calculations at night. Tomorrow, I'm going to try my best to keep my calories in check. I won't have a cookie, I'll pick an apple or some water or something. I made it 10 pounds, I can go the rest of the way!

You are so close! I have lost 10 pounds but still have 70 to go!!! You can do it! I do so much better if I write or log everything I eat! Good luck!0

Good luck!
It helps me to put in my planned food for the day as much as possible and put the "snack" in before eating it!0 -
I'm right there with you. Almost 10 lbs and was doing well, but the cravings have kicked in (doesn't help when hubby and family are having chips, popcorn and ice-cream snacks right next to me). But I'm reminding myself the same things. Pick and apple, stick with my water (although diet pop has no cals I find it makes me want to snack?)

I log all foods before I eat them, but I am a stay at home mom, I don't know what kind of job you do so I don't know if you would be able to do that. :flowerforyou:0

No, this summer I'm working at a day camp, so I never know what I'm going to have for lunch/dinner/etc.
But those are all good ideas! On the days that I know what they're serving, I'll put in the calories that morning so I only stick to what I have planned.0 -

I agree. I plan all my meals and workouts the night before. That way it's all part of my schedule and I'm much less likely to go over. I know how many extra calories I have and if I do have any extra snack, I do a longer workout. Good luck! :drinker:0 -

I recommend planning your meals beforehand that way you know exactly what to snack on and when.
It definitely helps. That way you can incorporate the things you like without worrying that you might be above your daily caloric intake. :drinker:0 -

Some things to consider:
*even if you can't log your food, make a list of what you will eat for the day and stick to the plan---if you've been logging your food for awhile you know some calorie counts.
*or better----pack your own food and allow no deviations
It depends on how desperate you are to shed those pounds.
