I love my husband

I am sitting here getting over a hangover and being lazy and my hubby, who played music last night at the bar where I got drunk, didn't drink, played music all night for free for a benefit, and today is doing all kinds of stuff like tilling a garden, fixing the lawnmower, fixing the brakes on my car, so I can go to the gym in the morning, and even remembered to call his dad for his birthday. I haven't done anything, the kitchen is a mess and it will stay that way until tomorrow. I am off tomorrow, so I will do it then. He also did laundry.

He is so sweet. I am so happy. We've been married five years and he still treats me like a queen.

How do you feel about your other half?

My other half is wonderful. We'll be married for 1 year on the 23 of May but it's like we've been together forever. He takes care of me and puts up with my messy lazy days. =) lol

My husband is wonderful! I've been meaning to clean out the garage, but today he did it all by himself! Wow! He even made me a steak dinner. He's so sweet! :-)

I love him with all that I am :) Been married 4 years this August, together 6. He works his *kitten* off all day as a welder in a steel mill so I can stay home with the kids and workout :)
  • My husband is the only person in the world who truly understands how my mind works. Truthfully, he understands it better than I do.

We met when I was 13, started dating when I was 14. We'll celebrate 11 years together and 2 years of marriage in September. ♥

Mine is great... I work and he is the housewife right now lol. I rarely have to do any housework. I do the cooking. He does the laundry and takes the kids place etc etc. But his religious and political views drive me insane lol.

Pretty much madly in love. Still. Our six year wedding anniversary is this coming Wednesday. We got engaged on a camping trip. And for this anniversary, we're going camping again. We have some of our BEST conversations around a campfire. No TV. No computer. No chores. Just me and him. And the dogs, of course.

I could go on and on...but that tends to make people nauseous.

I love my husband. He is a very good man. But, he is definitely not as "handy" as yours is! I usually have to "remind" him to pick up the slack around the house (we both work full time)... while trying to not sound whiny, resentful, or downright b**chy.
  • My husband is amazing too. He is out grocery shopping and doing another errand for me because I am just fried after a long weekend. He would do anything to make my life easier. He is the best!!!

We have been together 20years and he is my rock.

He is a wonderful, kind, generous, responsible, sexy, strong, hard working, family man.

But he wouldn't know a romantic gesture if it bit him on the butt.

We are total opposites in every way imaginable but somehow it works for us.

Awe how sweet. Mine somehow manages to do those type of things for me as well from time to time even with working 16 plus hour shifts, so I can raise the kids. He is one of the main reasons I'm on this journey and why I'll stay on this journey!

FINALLY a thread that I can relate to :) My husband and I have been together for 5 years...married for 2 this coming October. Currently he works 5-6 days a week, 50-55 hours a week so that I can go to Nursing school. Not only does he support me financially but emotionally as well. He encourages me everyday, tells me I'm beautiful when I least expect it and has a heart of gold.

Oh, and have I mentioned that he's too adorable for words? LOVE HIM and I am SO PROUD to be his wife <3

"Cause I'm not easy to understand,
But you know me like the back of your hand,
I'm your girl and you're my man,
    And we're makin plans..."

I LOVE mine!!! He is my best friend. Been together for 3 years, married 8 months. Been through jobs loss, battling depression already.. We like to think we are getting some of the sickness and poorer out of the way before kiddos come along.

I don't know what I would do without him in my life.

I LOVE this thread. There's so much negativity around here and this just makes me happy.
We're not married, but our 4 year anniversary is coming this Thursday, and I couldn't be happier with him :).

Thank you for that. Maybe one day you will be blessed with one.

As for me, I own a hair salon and work very hard supporting the family. My husband does not work, due to lung disease (emphysema). I support him and my adult son while he goes to school, and of course myself.

So I feel several times a year that I am entitled to be drunk and lazy if I want. Not that I needed to explain that to some random internet person, but just wanted to clarify....

Mine is pretty awesome too! Been married for 7 years and he is my best friend. We have 3 kids and he is an amazing father! He is the best. I could list all he does for me and for us but we'd be here all day.

My significant other and I just had our two year anniversary the other day.
He was actually my high school crush... The only guy I had ever even been attracted to in high school (I never paid attention to guys very much). Well, one day near the end of graduation he just started talking to me and we hit it off.
    Been together ever since.

We have been through quite a bit together and I thank the earth every day for the gift it has given me.
He cares for me and I care for him and that's all I've ever asked.

If we part ways after university, I know I will still always have him there if I need him :)

Aww, how sweet. I hope you two can somehow stay together even through school. It's amazing when you find the right one so young...you are indeed lucky.
