Hey everyone. I'm new to this site...and apparently I should have known about it for a long time since most of my friends have. Haha. I love working out and have loved it for a long time, but I also love eating food...bad food. It's always been my biggest obstacle when training. I've only been on here for about 10 days, but it seems really easy and helpful. I've got the app on my phone and I'm logging everything I eat...even the junk. I'm always looking for good advice and I like offering the little bit of advice that I can. I'm currently doing P90X2, so balancing my diet has been tricky, even using their diet guide. I suppose if I had a personal chef it wouldn't be an issue. HA! Anyway, I'm looking forward to gathering some solid info from this site, staying on track with things, and interacting with everyone. This seems like a great site!

Wish I could help you with great advice but I'm not the best. My eating habits are decent and I average about a 2.3lbs a week loss. Though for me its really all about making that sacrifice and choosing the right foods. I find little things add up quick like take a sandwich for instance.

    Before: Martin's Sandwich Potato Bread - 2 Slices - 160 calories
Kraft Deli Deluxe - Cheese - Mild Cheddar Slices - 90 calories
Boars head turkey deli - 60 calories
    Dukes - Real Mayo - 100 calories
    410 CALORIES TOTAL

    After: Nature's Own - 40 Calorie Wheat Bread - 80 Calories
Kraft Fat-Free Singles - American Cheese Slice - 25 Calories
Oscar Meyer - *Deli Fresh Turkey Oven Roasted - 45 Calories
Kraft Fat free Mayo - 10 Calories
    160 CALORIES TOTAL

Good luck to you on your journey! Feel free to add me.

Yep, it is crazy how quickly something as simple as a sandwich can add up. The sodium really gets me. A lot of the packaged deli meat is really high in sodium for such a small amount.

Yeah I couldn't believe their was so much sodium in the deli meat and even the cheese was pretty bad
