How do I track 30DS calorie expenditure on here WITHOUT HRM?

Just looking for a ballpark figure...I put it in myself as 180 calories (a guess)

Is there a more accurate heading I could look up and put it under?

Answers much appreciated!

(30DS = 30 day shred dvd!)

Others have put it under Circuit Training. It's pretty much around what I burned today using my HRM.

When I was doing the 30DS, I logged it in under "Circuit Training" for 28 minutes...

I did the 'create a new exercise' feature and just put in what my HRM read for my calories burned. I used to put it under circuit training, but it gave me like 206 when I was actually burning over 250.

I log it at Circuit Training. Typically my burn is around 120 calories for 30DS.

I have a HRM and averaged 200 cals for level 1, 235 cals for level 2. It all depends on your weight though. If you want a good estimate, I would log under circuit training.

Log it as circuit training, but I would humbly suggest NOT logging the entire 27 minutes - your heartrate is not up at 'circuit training' levels during the warm-up and cool-down. If you want a conservative estimate where you can feel fairly comfortable eating your exercise calories, I'd say log it for about 20 minutes.

Thanks guys, logged it under circuit training, general for 20 mins as suggested...150 cals  Not too bad for such a quick workout considering I'm close enough to goal and it also is working tons of muscles.

Wish it was more though

You can always get a HRM and bust your butt for bigger numbers. :-)

I just bought an HRM and only paid around $25 from Amazon. It is a Pyle HRM. I am 5'3" and around 130. I am on level 1 and average about 150 calories. Good luck!
