I love my husband

I adore mine! He is such a blessing in my life.
On top of that he has starting hitting the weights at the gym and mmmmm he is getting some nice muscles and a juicy booty to accent it all!
Yea he's pretty yummy in my humble yet accurate opinion0 -
I love mine, too!
We've been together 13 years now... he's my very best friend in the world, and he spoils me!
Of course, I try my best to spoil him, too, so it works out well.
Right now, our situation is that we are both students, plus I work and am gone 12 hours a day, while he is home, so he is doing most of the housework - I do the laundry - we share shopping and meal planning, and he does most of the meal prep during the week.
I helped him finish raising his four children (plus I have two that were already grown), and we are now "empty nesters", so that's one pressure we don't have.
He is also here on MFP, and is incredibly supportive of my efforts, both in eating and in working out. He's also great at being on-board when I call "free day!" ... which keeps us both sane!
We love the same sort of music, movies (mostly), and books... see, there's a reason we are best friends! ... and I also think he's incredibly good looking, as well.
This is what I see when I look at him:

It's wonderful to see couples that have been married for years on here! Even those who are newly weds (like me). Wishing all of you lovely couples many many happy, wonderful, and blessed years together!0

I somehow snagged the man of my dreams. He's cute, cudly, talented, hard-working, loving, helpful. I stalked him for an entire semester before he finally asked me out. Now we've been together for three years.
The other night (I work overnights a couple times a week), he showed up at the house I work at with a cup of tea and a hug. For no reason.0 -
Mine is amazing! We've been married almost 21 years and we're still best friends. He texts me every day just to tell me he's thinking about me, that I'm beautiful or just that he loves me. Every hobby I do I get his full support. I told him one year I wanted to take a cake decorating class so for Christmas he bought me a bunch of equipment and signed me up for classes. Now I do it as a hobby and have done several wedding cakes and he's my right hand. He makes me cake stands (he's a wood worker by trade) he stacks them for me, helps me deliver and of course is my willing taste tester. He's an amazing father, totally involved in his kid's lives. Does taekwondo with all of us, takes our son to Boy Scouts and is actively involved in the troop, coaches their 4-H Rifle club, teaches Sunday School, reads stories, lets the girls decorate him with their plastic jewelry and on and on. He completely supports my weight loss efforts without making me feel like I need to do it. He's run all over creation picking up things I've procured off craigslist (weights, benches, steps, anything!) He's going to build me a squat rack so I can lift heavy with some safety measures. When I found a hand gun I liked he went out of his way to surprise me with it (it's so pretty and fits my hand perfectly!)
I couldn't have married a better man.0 -
My fiance is fantastic. We're getting married next year.
I'm working average 12 hour days quite frequently, and working out. Aside from that, I have very little time to myself. He does all the housework every day so I get a chance to relax - he regularly asks me my weight, he tells me all the time that he's proud of me, and he does all the cooking and never complains when I'm shopping for my meals and spending ages looking at the nutritional information, then asking him once home to weigh out my portions before he cooks. Nor does he mind making separate meals when, for instance, I want turkey mince and when he wants beef.
He's not looking after his own health, really, but he's doing all he can to make sure I can stay in control of my own health and welfare. I'm very lucky.0 -
My husband is my best friend in the entire world. He makes me breakfast every single day. I live for our weekends together. He is my biggest champion and supports me no matter how crazy my ideas can be sometimes. We got married October '09. I am thankful every single day that I have him in my life.0

You could always finish your diary for Saturday. Then go clean the kitchen and quit whining. You aren't the first person to drink too much then have responsibilities the next day. Grow up.0

I love my boyfriend of 8 years who has yet to propose :grumble: .0

For the record, I ADORE my husband... even though he is kicking my butt in losing weight on MFP...
to the 'haters' that are posting, I will just say, I am sad for you... maybe one day you will be as much in love as the rest of us and I can only wish you will be as happy!0 -
I am sitting here getting over a hangover and being lazy and my hubby, who played music last night at the bar where I got drunk, didn't drink, played music all night for free for a benefit, and today is doing all kinds of stuff like tilling a garden, fixing the lawnmower, fixing the brakes on my car, so I can go to the gym in the morning, and even remembered to call his dad for his birthday. I haven't done anything, the kitchen is a mess and it will stay that way until tomorrow. I am off tomorrow, so I will do it then. He also did laundry.
He is so sweet. I am so happy. We've been married five years and he still treats me like a queen.
How do you feel about your other half?
You are a beloved woman...I recognize the signs, as I am one as well. We have been married for almost 24 years, and as long as you prop eachother up like this, it just gets better...keep on lovin'!0 -

After 18 years together, my husband is my very best friend. We do everything together and love spending as much time together as possible. We still behave like newlyweds most of the time.:blushing: We've never had a fight either. I can't imagine a single day without him.0

I'm just as in love with my husband today as I was when I met him. We have been together 12yrs as of yesterday (we will be married 5yrs in July).. I love him, he's my everything (and my kids too) nothing will ever change that. We're one hell of a team.0

Man, my other half is amazing. When I actually think about it, he treats me like gold. Takes care of me when I'm sick, does so much house work, takes care of the yard, loves me for me, helps me out when need be. He's all around amazing, can't trade that boy.0

My other half is the same! been together 7years all in good time i keep getting told :laugh:0 -
Mine works all day so I can stay home and be the happy housewife and "gym".
He has a bulging disc right now and is in excruciating pain and has been for 2.5 months and still rubs my feet almost 5 days a week. Not a little foot rub either.......each toe gets 2 minutes then the forefoot gets 2 the middle gets 2 and the heel gets 3!!!
I am very good to him too! It goes both ways :blushing:
We have 2 beautiful and healthy boys and he took them for me yesterday for 4 hours to ride quads! I was lazy and watched T.V., but he had dinner ready for him when they got home!0 -
My hubs & I are high school sweet hearts! I have known him for 17 years. I cannot imagine not having him in my life. He is an amazing father & husband!0

I think you've misread the whole meaning behind this thread. It's saying thank you to their SO who is being kind enough to help out while they're nursing a hang over. Not complaining, simply saying thank you.0 -
It is good to have someone in your life you can rely on on those "down" days. Lukily I do as well. Hubby not afraid to cook, do the laundry, take care of kids / homework. I also do the same for him if he has a "down" day.. Let him have it. Has to be equal in a relationship or it will not work. Everyone needs someone to fall back on for help when needed. Enjoy your rest day.0

My wonderful husband wakes up every morning at 5:30am to be at work at 6am. He has a very hard, physical job that he thankfully loves. He works so hard so that I can stay home with our two little boys. He is a generous provider. He always encourages me to buy things for myself, even though I sometimes feel like it is not techinically my money. He is an amazing daddy. Our little boys adore him and he plays with them every day. He is my best friend, and he spends most of his free time with me. He is protective and supportive. I try to spoil him, because I do not want to ever lose him! I love him with all my heart! The best choice I have ever made, aside from choosing to follow Jesus, was choosing him. The best thing about him is that even when he messes up, he always makes it right in the end.0

Aren't you a gem? I don't imagine your wife/girlfriend will be on here boasting about how great her SO is anytime soon. :noway:0 -

LMAO!! No foolin'!
My husband rocks. We've been married for 6 years, together for 16 and have never had an argument. He's my best friend and I'm incredibly fortunate to have him.0 -
my husband is second to none. i go to bed about four hours before he does, so every night he puts me to bed, tucks me in, gives me kisses and turns off the lights. last night i had a migraine so he made me toast so i could take my medication, got me ice and put me to bed early.
i dont know what i would do with out him, and i hate thinking about. hes the reason i want to get healthy, so i can stay in his loving care for as long as possible.
we've been married 4 years the beginning of march. the first two years were extremely hard. i had medication issues and was a raving b!tch for two years. he put up with it all, and loved me more each day. when i look back at how horrible i was to him, i just cringe. he doesnt have a mean bone in his body. hes loving, kind, loyal, wonderful and all mine
i'm much better to him now. i take as good a care of him as he does to me. and every day he tells me how wonderful it is to be married to me. there are always annoying things, things that cause little arguments. the trick is to not let the annoying things interfere with the loving things.0 -
Can I borrow yours????...ha ha
Ditto! lol
Mine is an awesome guy and a very hard worker but he is super lazy when it comes to doing anything around the house. He needs work in that department..lol.0 -
I love love mine. We have been together for 10 years. I could say so much about him <sigh> . He takes such good care of me. I'll say yesterday he was eating his cheesecake at a restaurant, and he knows I never cared much for cheesecake but he let me taste and it was delicious. I didnt tell him I liked it, but he save me the last peace anyway did I mention loooveeess cheesecake?0

As long as I do what my wife tells me to do, then its all OK. But if I dare step out of line I get put down and told to listen up or else.
I am truly scared of my wife. SERIOUS.
For the record I cook, vacuum, dishes, laundry, fold laundry, and all without being told.
I will NEVER dust. NEVER.0 -
My fiance is great. He does all the house work both inside and out. He loves to vacuum, do laundry, do dishes, cut the grass, go grocery shopping, etc. The only thing he doesn't do is cook or clean the bathrooms...lol
Since I don't drive he drives me around and never complains about it either.
I think I am pretty lucky.0 -

HA! mine does almost the opposite. He's a DJ, and while I'll go out I don't drink, then have to take care of the pets, cook, clean the next day or so, he's about 15 years younger than I am, so he bounces back pretty fast - well compaired to me that is. So this week, I'll come home from work to find the house clean, animals taken care of - everything except dinner waiting for me.
So, while legally he's not my husband, I sure do love him and am so very lucky to have him in my life!0 -
