Exercising in a Wheelchair

I am have been in a wheelchair now for about a year with such limited lack of movement and have gained weight. Can anyone suggest videos, websites, or book on excercising that works in a wheelchair?

    I don't know of a specific video, but you could check Amazon.com for chair exercise videos. Maybe also check out collagevideo.com where you can see previews of the videos.

    You could also go to www.monkeysee.com they also have videos for chair excerises. I have used them for all of my excerises so that I don't get bored and my body doesnt settle into a routine.

    Hi -Public Television has a series on seated exercise - you could try that. I was in a chair when I first had a stroke. I have a paralyzed arm/wrist/hand fingers & a paralyzed ankle/foot/toes on one side from a stroke so they don't work for me but best of luck. I have lost over 30 pounds from counting calories alone. You can do it! It is just slow!
