Looking for people who have specifically 80 pounds to lose.

Although every body wins in the end, getting encouragement and support from people who have simmilar weight loss goals as I do is something I desperately need. On top of that, it would bring out the competetive side of me, as well as yours. I need to friend people who are commited and serious about losing weight.

I've found it more effective to friend those who are on a similar journey to mine, as I've yet to find someone on the EXACT journey as mine. Therefore I've friended many people with various weight loss goals who are the same height as me. Or I've friended people who have started at the same weight as I started. Since I don't know what my "ultimate goal" is yet, I can't honestly tell you I want to lose 80lbs. If I was to go from my start weight to my "high school weight", that's 90lbs, but I don't know if I want to go that low.
Also, there are lots of threads for motivation - people are always starting one program or another, or dedicating themselves to a fitness goal each month. That might help you out too.

holy ****, I just realized I'm 10lbs away from goal weight #1!!0 -
I am looking to lose 81.2 lbs. That puts me down to 169lbs. I picked that as my goal because that is how low I got about 6 years ago before I packed it all back on. I figure that once I get there, I will maintain for a bit and then see what I can do to get lower. But for now, my total loss goal is 80-ish.
I am definitely ready to do this (again!) and am done almost 22lbs since the first week of January 2012.0
