This site rocks. A friend of mine introduced me to this site before she started. Doc said I may need an insulin pump if I couldn't get the diabetes under control. I made the decision there to stop eating Hotdogs for breakfast and 2 bags of cheese puffs almost everyday. After my 3week of cutting back slowly I still didn't feel as though I was doing enough. So far this week I kept to the 1200 cal diet and started walking and removed the cobwebs from the stationary bike. Before when I walked I couldn't even get across the street without being in severe pain. I haven't kept the excersice section blank since I had started. I wonder if it a form of OCD but that's ok.

MFP is the greatest diet aid tool I have ever found. :bigsmile: If I had to write all this stuff down....well..you know- I haven't got the time, much less remember. :grumble: Keep yourself accountable. Look up calories in foods your not sure about. Processed sugars and HFCS high fructose syrup are bad! :explode: Stay away from fast foods unless you know how many calories and what kind are in them. :noway: This is really about changing your life and way you eat forever. :flowerforyou: :drinker: Grabbing food for comfort or boredom is no longer an option! :noway: You must be aware of what, when and where you are eating. :happy: So get started!
