Not enough enough according to plan but I feel full..help!

I'm new to MFP and I love how easy it is and I have been tracking everything, but most days I am under my calorie goal by around 300 calories. I wasn't worried because I have felt full and not deprived. But I've read some other posts and how if you don't eat enough you won't lose weight. I want to lose weight but more importantly I want to be more active and eat better.
Any tips or ideas on how I can eat more? (Sounds soo weird saying I need to eat more to lose weight!)
And my title should say "not eating enough"....tried to edit but couldn't

Incorporate more healthy fats. Do not be afraid of fats when losing weight, we still need them! Olive oil, avocados, nuts, dairy are all ways to get more calories in your food without making major changes in what you're eating. This way you can get a lot closer to your goal calories without eating a lot more.0

Are you working out at all? Getting any additional exercise during the day? When you exercise, your body exerts the energy and tends to make you hungry. This has been my experience. If you're not getting any exercise, this could be an easy fix in addition to the response below. Also, are you fully aware of the portion sizes that you're entering in MFP? That could also be an area of opportunity. When I first started, I wasn't aware of what an ounce was compared to a tablespoon to half a cup. You have to watch your serving sizes and truly account for what you're consuming.0

2bodyfitness is just spamming and trying to sell you shakes.
I would listen to the posters who are suggesting good fats like avocado, olive oil, almonds. Or even making a smoothie as a snack? Use protein powder or greek yoghurt, peanut butter, fresh fruit, spinach? The list is endless and you can get heaps of ideas by searching the forums.
And I bought a food scale recently and realised how much I under-estimated portions! It will change your life!
Good luck!0
