Zumba Calories

Who adds exercises to the database? Can I? It drives me crazy and really surprises me that Zumba isn't in there!?!?

    A coworker of mine who was giving MFP a try had the same issue so I directed her towards this website ... http://www.zumbacalories.com/. It will calculate the calories burned during Zumba for you. It's a pain that it isn't on here. I do believe you can ad your own exercise to the database but I don't know how invloved (detailed info wise) it has to be.

    I use zumbacalories.com and then under cardiovascular, I created my own Zumba thing- I keep it on the same settings until each weigh-in, and then just re-caluclate calories burned on zumbacalories again. Might be tidious, but it's working for me- so that's all that counts. I just ordered a HRM so I'm going to make sure zumbacalories has been accurate for me.

    Thanks for the info! I have been referring to the zumbacalories site and so far have found that "aerobics, general" is usually a pretty close match. So, I have been using it...just kind of bugs me that it isn't on there, lol. My OCD coming out, I guess.
