Need Cool Patio Ideas :)

We are renovatting the Patio , There is only one tree and a Dog house at the moment. We want a patio where we can entertain and chill.
We have in mind a BBQ and a sitting area....etc
I'm sure there are some other cool things we could do but can't think of any...lol
There is not enough space for a pool

Any creative ideas?

    Some sort of neat fire pit! I know it won't be of much use in the summer, but it will be awesome for the fall/winter/early spring :)

    Personally, I just put a pond in our back yard. It's a lot of work to put in. But once you're finished the sound of the waterfall and just watching the fish is such a relaxing and enjoyable thing.
