I have been using Cardio Trainer (for distance, time, speed, and calories burned) but the distance seems inconsistent.

Any good running app recommendations?

  • If Noom is still available it is pretty good and is free, free, free. I liked it, but needed room on the phone, so had to uninstall it.
  • I love RunKeeper...it uses GPS, tracks your mph, your route, everything!

MapMyRun is also good, but I prefer RunKeeper

Try Endomondo - it's free, can be used for lots of sports/exercise and has a nice website. Calorie calculation appears to be on a par with MFP.

I use "My Tracks" which is OK... my friends us endomondo, which I haven't used yet, but they rave about.

endomondo and runkeeper are the 2 that i have used :)

But i guess it also depends on how good the gps on your phone is with these apps as thats what they rely on

I use RunKeeper. It seems accurate and consistent.
  • RunDouble. It's a C25K-like app! Love it! Nominal fee but worth it to me!

I use Endomondo. Works great on my android phone. Plays music, gives interval times at each mile, tracks your history. This one has everything I need...and it's free!

Sportstracker (sportstracklive.com), the one with bluish-grey icon

I just researched a little between MapMyRun and Endomondo and I found that MapMyRun tends to really drain your battery. I'm going to try Endomondo out and see what it's like.

i love endomondo but lately it's been giving me trouble especially picking up a satellite. so I put trackerbooster on my phone as well, turn that on first and it works fine.

i know a lot of people use runkeeper and mapmyrun as well, i'm sure they are fine.
