    wow you all look amazing!

I think being short, even a few lbs really shows. I'm trying to think that this works both ways though and that even a few lbs lost should make a big difference too. I dont know if that's being positive or deluded lol :)

    Keep them coming!

I'm 5 ft 1 and 3/4 inches (I count every bit!). At this height, EVERY pound shows. Although everyone told me I looked great at 130, my goal is 118 (was 120). I'm at 121 right now, so I am close. I don't have time to post pics right now, but if you need encouragement, I can give it! People will tell you don't need to lose it, but if you are out of your BMI or your weight range, go ahead and do what makes you feel good. You take care of your body and get it to the weight and ftness level that allows you to live a healthy active life!! You can do it!

Oh.... i can sympathise with this. People telling you you look good, but you want to lose weight- DOESNT HELP.
I know people are trying to be nice but when they try to discourage you its a little frustrating. I've decided i need to "listen to my body" and not all the nay-sayers lol!

5'1 here, only just starting out, back on MFP for a month so don't have before and afters but will accept friend requests from anyone in the same boat  I'm 9lbs down in a little over 4 weeks, logging everything I eat, walking when I can and I'm on Day 6 of 30DS and have just started exercising with free weights at home. I don't see a whole lot of difference in myself, belly maybe looks less bloated, but my fitness is definitely improving so I know I'm making progress  Concentrate on those Non Scale Victories!

I'm 5'4" (I consider myself short). My highest weight was 166lbs in 2010, my lowest was 105lbs in 2006. I am currently between 138-140lbs, ultimate goal weight is 128lbs.
