I have been sick with bronchitis for over a week now and have not been able to exercise. I've stayed below my calories and have been losing weight - actually more than I expected.

I'm sitting in my chair and looking at my belly that is turning flabby, my back is achy (probably a bit from too much bedrest), and I just feel soft and a bit thicker.

I can't wait to be able to start exercising again in a few days (must be able to climb stairs without gasping first), I miss that firmness my body was showing, and I miss how strong and empowered it made me feel.

I'm sure I'll gain at least a pound back when I start, but that's ok - because I know that in this week part of my loss is due to muscle loss.

Sorry to hear you've been feeling under the weather. It's so great that you miss it and you'll get right back into it when you are feeling better!
