Apples and/ or raw almonds are my go to snack. They help me make it to dinner without getting hungry immediately afterwards (like chips do).
Other snacks that I love: pears, whole wheat toast (i usually put a little peanut butter on it), and carrots/celery (I almost always eat them with red pepper hummus - YUM).0 -
Dried fruit and trailmix have got to be my 2 favorite healthy snacks.0

I am really hooked on the PB2 (powdered peanut butter). I love it on apples and celery or will make a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast and put a little honey on it.0

You should try Quest bars!! They're the only healthy protein bars I've seen that don't have a ton of added sugars. They come in a lot of flavors with pretty basic ingredients. Most protein bars have paragraphs on weird ingredients you can't pronounce. Each bar has 1 or 2 grams of sugar which is nothing! And 20 grams of protein each.
I usually eat 2 in one sitting and I'm pretty full.0 -
That's way too long for me to ever go without some grub! I eat a turkey sandwich in the middle of the day. You can load it down with great stuff without draining your remaining calories.0

I like Jello or yogurt. They are low in calories. But if you have a chocolate craving...try the Skinny Cow candy bars. I believe those are only like 110 calories. You can prolly eat half the candy bar and hide the other half away so you aren't temped. Eat the other half prolly 2 hours after your lunch and that can count as your second snack.0
