100 days on MFP, 17lbs down

I've been logging for 100 days and I'm only 17lbs down. I know some days and weeks I didn't eat like I was supposed to and during the 100 days I dealt with the death of my Grandpa. I want to lose 68lbs by then end of this year. Please tell me this is attainable. I'm trying not to eat stuff that is bad for me, I know it's ok in moderation, but when I try to aim for just a serving size I over eat on it, because I like the taste or texture. My weakest time of day is at night, I want something sweet and will search for something to fill that craving.
Please give me some tips to break these bad habits. I really want the weight gone and I want to do this right. Thanks!

Are you exercising? I also have a sweet tooth at night and usually have a small snack of yogurt, grapes, or a 100-calorie pack of something sweet. It is attainable, you just have to work at it. Good luck!0

Well, your diary is rather frightening. If you are actually logging everything you eat, you aren't eating enough. Your body cannot lose weight with that little fuel. Your have a deficit each day of 900-1700 calories! Do you realize that? I went back a few week and cannot find a single day that you ate enough food.0

68lb in 265 days is about 1.7lb/loss per week. It's doable, if you eat right and stick to it the whole way (no telling how hard the last few lbs will be though).
If there are things in your house that you can't resist, try not buying them or talk with the person in the house (if any) who is buying them about not keeping them lying around in the open.
Also, sorry about the loss of your Grandpa.0 -
I don't eat back my exercise calories. I also have fitbit and I kinda feel it over estimates how many calories I actually burn during the day.
I'm going to be honest, there are some days when I don't want to eat all at and I have to talk myself into eating. When I was a teenager I used to go days without eating anything. It's how I lost weight and kept it off. I'm trying not to fall back into that, but I've noticed on the days I don't eat anything I lose weight. I'm trying not to let that be what motivates me. I'm trying to do it right this time.
When I started MFP I was at 1200 calories a day, just this week I switched to what my TDEE will be when I reach my goal weight. SO now I'm trying to eat at my TDEE in hopes that that will do the trick and get more weight off.0
