Exercise OnDemand?

So, I've checked out a lot of the workouts (mini-workouts, usually!) on Time Warner Cable's Exercise OnDemand. The other day, I did one of Jillian Michaels' 30-minute circuit training deals, and 2 days later I'm STILL sore...so yay. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has tried any other workouts offered OnDemand, and I'd love to hear some comments.
Thanks, guys.
(Also, I'm new to the site, and I think you're all wonderful!) :blushing:

  • I also utilize TWC exercise on demand. I have tried all of Jillian's workouts and they are no joke! I noticed changes after just a couple rounds. I also tried the abs of steel one and didn't like it. Also gave a shot to one of the arm workouts (cannot recall it's name other than it was a somewhat 'cheesy' title) I didn't like that one much either. I plan on continuing to use these 'on demand' workouts, makes my cable bill worth it

Good luck on your journey :flowerforyou: I hope you find some friendly support/people to chat with on the site .... I haven't

I've done some of the OnDemand workouts in the past. I generally like them - I try to preview some on the weekend, just watch some and fast forward a little and watch some more, to see if it is something I would like, then I note a couple I want to try and do them through out the week or for a couple of weeks. A couple of times I just randomly picked one and started it, then didn't like it and stopped it and picked a different one. It's nice to have a variety of workouts that you can choose from at your convenience! Have fun :drinker:

I have been using the on demand feature for some time, including Jillians workouts, love'm. I have done a lot of misc workouts over the last 8-9 months but really only have seen results with Jillian

I LOVE the workouts On Demand feature! They give a variety, and no excuse to work out, like if it's raining and I can't job outside. I haven't tried Jillian yet but will do so after reading all these comments! Can't wait to see some results!

The cheesy arm thing was proabably "Tank Top Abs" or something! Some seem pretty silly, but I think I'll keep at it. They're convenient and there's usually a good variety. As far as not finding friendly people to chat with, you gotta be kidding me! There seems to be, like, a million people on this site, and I think, statistically, at least one or two of them has to be nice! At any rate, I'll be your friend:drinker: Good luck and thanks!

I love the videos on OnDemand - just found htem about a month ago - had no idea they were there. Great variety, never get bored. My favorites are Jillian Michaels - she packs a lot into the 20 minute shreds!!

I use these workouts very often, whenever I can't get to the gym, or first thing in the morning before work. I especially like Cathe Friederich (i might be spelling her name wrong) but she is no joke. Her workouts are amazing, and the intensity really makes the workout worthwhile.. If you want to work up a sweat and burn some fat, she is the person to follow. My favorites are her ab routines and also her cardio blast workouts. Good luck to all who try her =)

Yes you are quite right. There are a good bit of nice people here. I've just been a little 'blah' lately. I've been lonely all summer, my kids have been with the grandparents. But! Today I am flying out and going to pick them up  I move a lot so, I don't have a 'social life' LOL I see from your profile you live in NC. I am not sure yet, but we've heard that may be our next location (this Dec). I hope so, seems to be a good state, with lots of things to do. Unlike El Paso, TX :grumble:

OMG!! I love ETV!!! It's great because I get so bored with other stuff real quick. Plus since I can't afford a gym membership right now it helps me get my cardio and strength training in good condition. i love it!!! The only problem I have is getting the living room free for me to use...plus my floor is very old and creeky (sp?) so everyone can hear me jumping around lol  But it's worth it,
