Amount of wine that is poured at restaurants

Just wondering if anyone knows what the average amount of wine in oz that is poured in a glass at a restaurant. Going out tonight and want to be able to somewhat accurately log.

    There is no set amount. some pour sparingly (2 oz) and a few to the rim (4-5 oz). Measure the contents of one of your own wine glasses to calibrate your "bartender's eye."

    Guestimate based on what 12-16oz of beer looks like. Maybe 8oz (I know all the calorie counters are set up for 5oz of wine, but ... really???)

    Here at the arena, convention center, and opera house, we pour 7oz.
