A lady at my job was tanning due to some medical condition. Don't recall the specifics.
Anyways, she got skin cancer. Nuff said.0 -

I used to be ADDICTED to tanning... both indoor and outdoor. But since I've worked in the cosmetic business for so long now I truly understand the repercussions of tanning (not to mention melanoma). I love getting color, so now I cough up the cash for spray tanning or buy the stuff in a bottle and make the all of 10 minutes of time to apply it. And if I do tan, I put an SPF 40+++ on my face, neck and chest and an SPF 20 on the rest of my body. I'll use a really great face fake tanner and no one can tell the difference and it saves my skin. No one wants to be a leather bag at 30.0

No way! Pale is the new tan.0

I live by 2 lakes and running around in the sun and water gives me a little color every summer. I will lay out and soak up the rays a bit to dry off after a swim but always with lots of sun screen.0

I very occasionally visit the tanning salon. I'll admit, it's a "pick me up"
I don't use lotion with any bronzers in it, so I'm not orange. And I will go about once a week for a few months out of the year.0 -
I love it, but I don't go for fear of cancer and of looking like an old leather purse0

does the stuff in a bottle actually work?0
-
Not I. I moisturize twice, sometimes three times a day and stay out of the sun, so I estimate I'll be rocking my jailbait complexion even when I'm 40!0
-
Only when i bask in the sun like a big fat turtle. :]0
-
yeahh buddy
but i cover my face with a towel and then just use bronzer. i dont want wrinkles when im like 300 -
Yep, 2 or 3 times a week. It is my only vice and I love it.0

Not on purpose. Sun is good for the vitamin D, but I don't want the leathery-looking skin I see on a lot of women who spend too much time tanning.0

I absolutely love the sunshine, have to have it!!! it makes my bones feel good if that makes any since???0
-
only once a week and for only 12 mins.0

In the words of Madea...Hell to the NO!! Have you been watching the news lately? Skin cancer is quickly on the rise for women! Tanning beds are adding to this statistic. I make it a point to get at least 10 minutes in the sun every day to get my daily dose of vitamin D. Other than that, I am careful not to overexpose myself to the sun. I am not eating healthy, losing weight, and changing my lifestyle only to turn around and purposely do something that could give me cancer.

I'm not really a fan of the skin cancer. So, no.0

Let me also add that, here in Arizona, we have an almost pathological fear of skin cancer because we live approximately 5 miles from the sun (give or take).
That is all.0
