ok soo i've got a skipping rope i brought from the fitness section in argos like january 2011 when i started to get real about loosing weight for good! i was at my heaviest back then weighing 230lbs, and i couldnt even skip for 10 seconds without huffing and puffing! soo i put the skipping back in the box and shuved it under the bed! a year later i come across it whilst sorting out the storage space i have under my bed.. im thinking doing skipping 3 times a day and see how i get on now i am like 40 odd lbs lighter!
sooo is skipping a good workout? where about does it help to tone? and where should i skip? livingroom, kitchen, garden etc?

It's a very good workout, and to a certain extent works on most of your body I would say, though obviously mostly calves and probably glutes. My advice is whatever you do, DON'T skip on grass! I did this when I first started skipping and got really disheartened because I kept tripping on the rope - turns out the rope was catching on the grass lol. Much easier on the pavement!0
