    I have the Polar FT60 and LOVE IT!! I got it directly from Polar when they first came out, they were around $200.. My co-worker just got one off of Amazon for $130! Such a great deal- I definitely recommend Polar..I've heard a lot of people talk about their basic one, the FT1 and really liking it.. Those are around $50, I think.

    I have a Sportline I think the model is a 660 women's cardo HRM. I purchased mine from REI for about $70. I tried the MIO brand from somewhere else for $30 and it was terrible. The sportline comes with the band as well.

    You can a very good one starrting at around $60. and they go up to about $400 depending on the features. Polar as you will hear over and over in this thread is excellent.

    I have a MIO my son got it for me for my b-day I have to figure out how to use it though I just got it last week

    They have quite a large price range depending on what functions you would like them to have. I ordered one from Amazon recently for about $50 but they can also go up to a few hundred dollars.

    I got a Polar FT7 heart rate monitor for Christmas and I love it! I can't imagine working out without it! Extremly user friendly with lots of features.
