Group Challenges for Quitting Smoking

A group of 8 friends all want to quit smoking. They would like some sort of "Challenge" or "Incentive" to make it more fun to do together. Like a "Biggest Loser" sort of game almost. From financial to non-financial rewards, we're game for anything. There's everything from the social smoker that only does so while drinking to the pack a day smoker in this group.

I can't find any fun challenge/group ideas online.... I keep coming up with websites about "quitting smoking is challenging." We all know that

Anyone have any ideas? Links?

How about this (I'm trying to quit, myself). I usually go through about 4 packs a week. So now, I'm starting the week with enough money for 4 packs in a jar, and if I "need" to buy a pack, I take it out of the jar. What's left at the end of the week, I can put towards something bigger. If everyone did that (calculated how much they spend each week and put it aside), you could use that as prize money!

I smoked 2-3 packs a day. I quit with Chantix, over 10 months now. Since I quit, so have my husband, oldest daughter, her husband, my sister and 2 of her friends. We call each other every day and offer encouragement. So far so good.

    Here's a thought. Just Quit.

I smoked cold turkey after smoking for 30 years. It's a Mental battle. If you want it. Choose to do it. Act upon the choices. And you succeed. Break the habits of when and how you smoke. 99% Mental.

Actually, I think I've replaced smoking for licking my screen when I see your pic
