I just finished this DVD and I am drenched in sweat!!! I did the entire video but without weights because I do my strength training tomorrow. I just don't know how to log it in. If you have done it before, how do you log it in? It has some intense jumping exercises, kickboxing and boot camp type exercises. Even the warm up had lunges and jumping jacks added...Thanks!!!

  • I would do it as kickboxing because that video is quite intense and calorie wise it matches up with kickboxing because it burns the most calories. ( just my opinion )

According to my HRM, I burn about 400 calories during it. (but everyone is different. . .just something to go on).

That video is a butt-kicker. Probably the most intense workout DVD I've ever done.

Ok, I logged it in as kickboxing and it said 411 calories!! And I did not include the warm up and stretch so the cardio sections were 40 mins all together. I really need to get a heart rate monitor!!! Thanks for the suggestions!!!! Have a great day!!

I record it as 400 also and LOVE the workout. I use my five pound weights and follow it up with 20 minutes of weights. I lost a little over 12 pounds and 14 inches in the 10 weeks I did it M-F. The Power Sculpt is great too!

Yep a heart rate monitor is the way to go. I just used my new Suunto T1 for the first time today. seems i have been getting gipped on my cals burnt during exercise. a one hour work out 10 min warm up and stretch followed by 50 mins of heavy lifting burnt 588 cals according to it. I Got it off Ebay for $67 including shipping. It retails for $115 to $120. I love getting stuff half off.

other than the obvious benifits of knowing and tracking your heart rate and calories burned it seems that this one transmits on the same freq as our elipticals i use to warm up. I was suprised to see my heart rate displayed on the eliptical and on the watch without touching the area of the machine that supposed to check heart rate..

Its a decent investment i only wish i had bought the next level up as they have count down timers as well. I like to stick to a 2 to 3 min break between heavy lifting sets to ensure my muscles have time to recharge.

    rambeling i suppose.

    congrats on the work out

I love this video! My boyfriend and I have been doing it for a few weeks now. I haven't done the third level yet, Jillian is still kicking my butt  . I log it as general aerobics.

I thought three was easier than two. You might try it.

I totally agree. Three seems much easier than the rest. She pours it on for a couple of minutes at the end but that's about it. I usually do part two twice & just don't bother with three.
