I did something wrong to my knee and need to put as little pressure on it as possible (I think it happened doing Turbo Fire). I hate that I can't really work out. I normally workout 5-6 days a week and it's been 5 since I last got to work out. Any suggestions what I can do to continue to burn some cals while trying to heal. This not working out is killing me. I plan to lift weights tonight. How much will pilates help me with making sure I don't start losing muscle while dieting..I had to cut my cals more because of lack of activity.

Thanks!

RESTING the knee is the most important. Can't emphasize enough that people who don't recover from an injury are usually the ones who get injured more.

You aren't going to lose all your muscle if you take a few days off. Rest your knee; ice it down if you have any selling. Since you can't do lower body work, when you get back on your feet, do upper body and abs.

wasnt pilates created for dancers with injuries so they could still work out?

and you wont lose muscle after a few days of not working out. it would probably take months to lose anything significant

^^THIS^^ is sage advise!! I know from experience that its extremely important to rest that knee until it's completely well. You won't regret it I promise.

    Thanks everyone!

I was worried I was going to have to take a few weeks off...but I am hoping it will only be a week.
