When will I feel like I made progress?

I am 5 foot 3 and 144lbs. I have lost 6lbs in the last 2 weeks and 1 inch from my waist. I carry all of my fat in my stomach, right now my wist is 33.5 and I would like it to be more like 29 inches. Even though I see the differance in numbers and I was happy for about 5 minuets I still feel like I have not made progress (I am still considered obesse based on my body fat %). I have 3 kids so I know its common to have trouble with getting your stomach in shape, any one have any ideas as to how to flatten it out w/o a tummy tuck?

    Six pounds in two weeks is great! I'd just say keep working like you are, and you'll feel like you've made progress really soon. It takes time, but if you're dropping 2-3 pounds a week, it'll happen. I have to do before/during/after pics during my workouts so that I can see the progress (and not get frustrated).

    Stick with it and please make sure you are eating the proper amount of calories.

    I am eating just enough I think, I am also doing some kind of cardio daily as well as pilates. I just want to shrink my stomach over night haha. Thanks for the encouragement :)
