I've noticed some folk are funny about what friend requests they accept

Now if people are been idiots on here then fair play.

However I think the more people you have to support you along the better.

I've not been logging my food or exercise yet, however I do support the people that are

I don't care if your having a good or bad day, either way I will see what you've wrote, support and encourage all that I can.

The fact that someone has commented on the day they've had, good or bad needs to be acknowledged.

We're all here the help with our weight battles, whether to lose or gain..

Good luck all with your journey xx

Everyone's different - some people just use MFP as a handy food log, the support from friends is nice, but not essential. Others find that it's a big help. Having lots and lots of comments to read can get a bit time-consuming, so I understand those who want to keep their friends list to a "manageable" level.

I am new to this site and have only started using the social aspect of it the past few days. But, I am loving it and think everyone on here with common goals supporting each other is incredible.

I've been declining some friend requests lately because I already have a few MFP buddies. I am content with my group and try to keep up with everyone! but kind of fail with the quantity I have as it is!

That is my only reason for declining new friend requests.

Yeah I suppose if you have a lot of pals already then fine.

Just Ive noticed some with loads of requirements before you add them..

I like to see how people are doing, I think it spurs you on. Especially when your having one of them days where you think you cant be bothered.

Then you'll see x has done whatever, and I think, yeah Im gonna do my workout now :)

Just me, im a bit soft.. lol

    Thanks for your time x

I read it. I use it for both reasons. I like the support from people who experience the same ups and
Downs as I do and its nice to meet new people of all ages from all over the country.
