When I started this journey 11 months ago I had a list of goals and milestones that I wanted to reach... Part of me back then at 326lbs never thought I would get there or stick it out as I had tried so many diets over the years.
But this has been different it has been a real lifestyle change and not a diet and now down 106lbs I have reached one of my biggest milestones of all...
Tomorrow for the 1st time in nearly 20 years I am going horseback riding back then I had my own horse and she was big/strong and able to carry my weight even at 270lbs but when I retired her my life took a different direction and I did not have the time necessary to have a horse of my own.
Most riding stables in the UK have strict weight limits so riding was out of the question and has been one thing that I have missed more than I can express in words.
Well now I have finally reached a weight where I am able to hire a horse and go riding so tomorrow I am off to Ashdown forest for my first ride in far too long..... I am so so excited
And you know the best part it is just another inspiration to keep on this journey....

How exciting! Congrats on reaching the milestone. One of the goals I had when I started this was to start taking riding lessons again. I am not too heavy for the horses, but I just wouldn't feel comfortable riding until Im down another 50 or 60 pounds. I can't wait until then! Have fun on your hack!0
