I used to have pizza like 3 times a week and about a week ago I tried it and it tasted DISGUSTING.

Also, I haven't had chocolate for awhile so I had a tiny egg this morning, though it was delicious my body did not want it and decided to vomit it back up...well if I'mma get sick from chocolate I don't mind guess it'll just turn me off it :P

Also, cookie dough... WAAY too sweet. ugh

Potato chips and wine. It used to be my staple for most nights. Especially once kids are in bed and I'm relaxing. I can have the odd glass of wine, but don't even feel like chips at all. Not complaining though :-)

Hamburgers. I used to love a big juicy cheeseburger.. now? I hate the taste of ground beef AND it makes me VERY sick when I eat it.

Ditto to fried fish (like fish and chips) and french fries - used to LOVE both and now? They make me very sick when I eat them.

Mt Dew. I loved Mt Dew. I tried a sip awhile back and gagged.

And donuts. I was a donut addict. I gave them up cold turkey for the first year - I had one last summer at Cedar Point and.. disappointment. They didn't taste anything like I remembered. They were too sweet for me. I can't believe I don't like donuts. lol.

I used to love ordering pizza from a pizza place and now? The only pizza I can eat is homemade pizza.

I don't eat brussel sprouts, cabbage, milk, soy, bread or glutens in general, egg plant, potato, coffee, caffeine.. and all refined sugars

That's because I have noticed that I don't feel good after eating them. I was informed that I can't process these foods and it's just a waste of calories. I also stopped taking all supplements and only get my nutrition from food now.

I love it because I get to eat fruit again and not worry about the calories in the fruit sugars.

Oh, I gave up pizza, chocolate, ice cream and all the other stuff, but that's part of the whole healthy lifestyle change.

This is under the advice of a nutritionist

Salt. I grew up in a house where all veggies were canned veggies, all pasta, potatoes and rice were cooked with lots of salt, all home made burgers had salt mixed in. Now I use frozen veggies, never put salt in my pasta/rice/potato water or my burgers. Things like ham and bacon taste way too salty now, and even American Cheese, which I have always loved is too salty.

    Burgers...too rich!

Anything with milk in it...VERY sensitive (you don't want to know details).

For some reason, eggs...I think they're too rich too.

Skittles...taste too sweet! And I used to eat them like the candy they are!

Chocolate is one of the healthiest foods on the planet, why would people give it up when trying to eat healthy?

As for me, I haven't stopped eating anything. No reason to do so.
  • I have the same problem you do. But my body has been craving and ''Winning" for McDonald's nuggets

I can't handle a lot of the foods I used to be able to, and I can't eat large portions anymore, either.
I hate the way I feel when I am stuffed- I'd honestly rather feel hungry.

I don't eat fried foods anymore and don't like fast food. Anything really rich, from cheese sauce to cheesecake, is hard for me to stomach.
I can't drink any surgary drinks. All I can drink these days is water, and milk with my cereal.

There's no reason to give up foods you love, but the stuff I used to love? Well, I don't love it anymore. That doesn't mean I felt like I had to give it up - it simply doesn't taste good (or sit well) to me anymore.

There's a difference. This post wasn't asking what foods you gave up for weight loss - it was asking what foods you no longer eat because they aren't good anymore.

Whole milk tastes like cream to me now. French fries still taste good< but the guilt outweighs my enjoyment...

I don't mean all chocolate, I still eat dark chocolate but milk chocolate... my body just can't handle it anymore.

I cut way back on sodium. Now when I eat out, everything tastes like the top came off the salt when sprinkling. I also gave up soda and don't miss it at all. Didn't want to replace the soda with diet soda so I replaced it with water. Also I stopped drinking. Don't miss it at all. hmmmmmm.

i still have the sweet junk food craving but only fulfill once in awhile. but when i am in town and hungry i go to wendy's usually but by the time i've driven in and sometimes parked with the car shut off i talk myself out of it and leave. i have at least 3 or 4 reasons why i don't get it- i've come so far, i have food at home which is minutes away, i don't need to waste my money and my stomach is not going to like me too much if i do eat it

For me, the answer is the same. There isn't anything I eat that stopped being good, therefore, there isn't anything I stopped eating.

I used to love cake batter ice cream, and they sold it during lunch at my school.
Now, I can't stand the taste or the horrid smell, it makes me want to puke

I find my palette and tastes have changed since changing my diet. It's kind of weird and unexpected. The biggest example is that pork COMPLETELY grosses me out. I used to really like the flavor.
The texture and flavor of it make me gag, quite literally. It's weird.

Dairy and sugar. I went to a child's birthday party today and decided to try a piece of her chocolate birthday cake since it'd been awhile that I'd eaten any. I couldn't eat half of it. I could feel myself getting sick from the sugar. My husband wanted to go out for ice cream recently and I hadn't had any in a good while so I went along and had a little. Same thing. Wished I hadn't eaten it. Then I tasted a sample of a good cheese in a store. It tasted good in my mouth but a few minutes later I wished I hadn't eaten it because of how my body felt after.

I like how I'm becoming more sensitive to how foods affect my body and my moods and how my physical reactions are fitting what I know is good for me.

Chili's southwest Egg rolls. I had been missing them and remembering them fondly, until I had them for lunch a few weeks ago and they just weren't as I remembered! I probably won't waste my calories on them again.
