It's a quarter to 9AM where you are, right? When is dinner? Assuming that you are serving in the early afternoon - hopefully around 1 or 2pm, do you have a crockpot? You could leave the chicken in one on high and it should be about done by then. Check it about 45min. in advance, if not done - stick it into a preheated oven @ maybe 350-375 degrees.

I nearly always cook my chicken in the crockpot - you don't get to serve it up as a whole bird, if you like that sort of thing, but it is so very tender and delicious (add some chicken broth or even boullion to the crockpot instead of just water) and it is worth having to cut up the bird (unless your crockpot is big enough for a bird that's still in one piece).

That's the only solution I can come up with - be sure to put it on high - takes half as long. I always cook mine from the freezer to the crock pot - you can always check the middle of the meat to make sure it's done. It always is.
  • omg thank you that is a great idea its 10am and i was hoping to be serving around 1.30pm , im going to to do that now, thank you so much x

Not sure that you need my input-. But, I absolutely agree. I always put frozen chicken in the crockpot. It will turn out just wonderful! Happy Easter

I'm glad you got it worked out.

For future reference, never thaw chicken in warm water. That allows bacteria to grow quickly and can lead to food poisoning. Instead, thaw it in cold water or in the refrigerator.
  • slow cooker worked, it had been in the fridge for 24 hours and was still frozen it was a super chicken haha
