Proud of myself.

Without going into much detail, I have been crying for hours in my room with the lights off and curtains closed.
I wanted some comfort food, so I ordered pizza.
BUT.
I chose carefully, avoided temptation and chose a small pizza with some garlic mozzerella (sp?) sticks.
I am now only 57 calories over, and have my 30DS workout planned for later.
Pointless post but *shrugs* I'm proud of myself.

Mmmmmmmmmmm.....pizza!
Sounds like you probably really needed a hug!0 -
That is the beauty of MFP...we can eat anything we want, we just have to log it. And some days pizza is completely justified. Hang in there- whatever it is.0

Good control.....I hope things are happier for you soon.0

Not pointless at all. Good for you, you dealt with you feelings and you also had what you wanted to eat!
That's a huge achievement right there. On top of that, you are on track. Great job! (Hope you feel better, too).0 -
You should be proud. This isn't easy.
It's not about being perfect, it's about making more good choices. You developed a strategy for dealing with the reality of where you were and came up with something that will work. This is a good sign for future success and getting to your goal. Good for you!0 -
I agree about logging it, even though I knew I was going to go over today, I would rather log everything I can then not log the "bad" days.0

You should be proud of yourself! You made a conscious choice to not go over board. You need to allow yourself some leeway. You have a plan and will workout later, so don't get down, but get down and boogie!! Hope you can find the sunshine in your day and that some light will shine your way.0

If pizza is what you needed then you deserved it.
I hope the reason for you sadness is not long term.
Enjoy your workout and your pizza.0 -

I don't think it was a pointless post, I believe they are called NSVs, & although some would disagree, I think you did a great job & crying is very good for you!

((hugs)) and great job not blowing it out the water. Can I borrow some willpower to NOT eat anymore Easter candy today? Ugghhhh.0

Well done! Its hard to break the habit of turning to food for comfort but you made a sensible choice, you are only a tiny bit over and by the time you work out later you won't be over at all. You should be proud of yourself, it would have been easy to go way over the top but you didnt. Hope you are feeling better now :flowerforyou:0

You did good. You didnt lost control in a bad situation and that is definitely something to be proud of0
