The other day, I went shopping and had to ask a worker to get a dress down for me from the wall. She asked what size I wanted. I told her, "Either a large or x-large." She gave me this crazy look and shook her head. "No, no, no - you're a medium. I'm pretty sure I'm right. There's no way you're a large - definitely not an x-large!" I was so flattered! I argued a little with her about it (people think I'm smaller than I am because of my waist, but I've got serious booty), but she was actually right. YAY!!!

    I have one too-I work in a hospital and I work straight nights. Anyway, everyone orders out all the time since lots of fast food is open til bar close (I live in a college town). Anyway, someone asked me if I wanted to order and I said no, I don't order anymore im trying to be good and she said oh don't tell me your one of those skinny chicks that thinks shes fat. I was shocked but I have to admit, I smiled all the way home that day!

    That is awesome, I have the same issue. From the front I always tend to look about 2-3 sizes smaller than I am, but once I turn you can see where ALL the weight is hiding,lol. Luckily most of my weight loss has come from that end now.

    that is a great feeling....congrats....something similar happened to me after christmas...i was in JCpenney returning some sheets my husband had bought me (yes sheets were on my list LOL)...anyway i saw some st john's bay short sleeve shirts by the register and i asked if there were more like that style somewhere cause they were not exactly what i wanted...and the cashier said "your size is in the back, down that way" and she pointed away from where i was....i looked around and realized i was at the checkout by the "women's plus size" section.....it felt sooo good for someone who has no idea who i am or where i came from to SEE that i was NOT a plus sized girl anymore...that the misses section is now the place for me to shop....anyway, great NSV....suck it up and carry it with you as you push on towards your goals...

    That is so cool, especially when someone else points it out to you.

    I have been thrilled that I have been able to go thrift store shopping. As a big girl, there were never any clothes that would fit me. Now I've got quite the designer wardrobe thanks to Goodwill, Salvation Army and some other locals shops.
