I am trying to find snacks that healhy, low in calories but at the same time taste good.

Any advise on what to snack on? I like to snack throughout the day and in between meals ( I sit at a desk which can become pretty boring). I dont want to snack on chips or anything out of the vending machine...

I like wafer thin ham - with pretty much anything, red peppers, mushrooms, rice cakes, cucumber and lettuce.
And I LOVE oranges - but these can be a bit tricky to eat at a desk, a tangerine might be better

Celery, broccoli, cauliflower, sugar snap peas, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, all fresh fruit and veggies. Veggies are better because of the lower sugar counts, but definitely all better than most snacks.

I used to eat baby carrots but now stick to regular sized ones...my daughter went on a field trip to a farm and the farmer told us how they make baby carrots =yuck! it's actually normal carrots, cut to look like baby carrots and then they add dye....best to cut a big carrot into slices, or circles for variety...I like to add hummus...there's low fat variety of it. And there's protein in it.
