Honestly, there are times I sit down with my allotment and make sure I squish the other one(s) in with some really nasty garbage in the trash. That way I can't change my mind. I've found that, for me, this is the best policy. Best to not ask the origin of such a policy... (Semi-joking )
For me, though, I find it best to have small candies so I can have a few when I want. Lately it's been those hard shelled Cadbury eggs; a full serving is big calories, but I can sit down and nurse three or four of them for 10 or 15 minutes. It satisfies my sweet tooth at a cost of only 50 or 60 calories, rather than me snarfing down a 190 calorie Reeses and wishing for more (or, worse yet, giving in and HAVING more!)!0 -
If you have self control, then break the chocolate up into small portions and stick to one of those a day.
Or you can give it away, I am sure you have friends or relatives who would be happy to eat it for you.
You can throw it away, but that seems a little wasteful.
Or you can stash it all in the freezer, as I do with my chocolate, so it is too cold and hard to eat quickly.0 -

That's what I had to do today! I went to visit family for easter and they sent me away with tons of gummies and a box of chocolate. I tried offering some to my boyfriend's dad and even him but everyone declined except for me hahahah.0

I seriously would throw it away or give it away if you are not able to ration the candy. I've been successful with freezing chocolate for rationing, but mostly I just throw the stuff away. Good luck.0

freezing it, that would work for me because in a deserate time when i need chocolate i'd go in the freeezer and use the microwave and melt it lol, so that wouldn't work out! Hopefully everyone wants to take the chocolte from me!0

I will take it!0

I agree with taking it to work, that way you can share it and then you don't have to throw it away...0

I have some Lindor truffles in my desk since Valentines Day. I keep telling myself I leave them there incase I want just one, but I never have one bc I know i will not eat just one. I feel proud my favorite chocolate in the world is right next to me, yet I never touch it. It gives me the impression I am gaining will power..0
