Your first NSV (Non Scale Victory)

Mine was when I pull a pair of pants out of the closet, that I had not worn in two years and they fit0

Mine happened just last week: I was able to run an entire mile without stopping once!!! It was so liberating and made me want to run more! :happy:0

I FINALLY broke a 10 minute mile on the elliptical. 9:54, but what's even better is I broke that again with 9:47. I know to many of you that's not very quick, but for a lady my size that is something I am proud of.0

Fitting into a size 16 and being able to bike more than 15 miles.0

(first post here - hello everyone)
My first NSV was putting on my belt and not being able to get it tight enough - it ran out of holes and was still loose. I know that is not really a big deal but to me it was huge.0 -
My first NSV was when the size 34 pants that I was wearing were falling down so much that I had to make a belt outta yarn around the house!
My favorite NSV was when I was visiting my grandfather in Kansas and he told me that I was looking really good!! That one is just a beautiful feeling whenever I think about it.0 -
I went shopping for an Easter dress on Saturday and couldn't get the one I really liked (an orange ruffly shift dress from Target) because they didn't make it any smaller than a size 2!! I know Target has size inflation and I'd probably still wear a 2-4 anywhere else, but it was a big win for Boyfriend to say, "That looks like it's too big. Let me go get the next size down" and then they didn't have it!!0

My first was being able to get my wedding ring on again. I lost that ability 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. My hands and feet have been losing weight really fast compared to the problem hips and stomach. My most recent was when a coworker told me I had to go out and buy new clothes because they could walk by me and pull my pants off. And yes I had to go from a size 10 to a size 6. Great day shopping!0

My Milestone NSV is when I broke the size 40 threshold for pants. I'm down to 36 now0

Well, this wasn't my first NSV, but two weeks ago, my husband was talking to one of our neighbors from the window of his truck. I drove around and stopped to talk to the neighbor. After I drove off, the neighbor asked my husband who I was. He said," That was my wife." ROCK ON PEOPLE THIS IS FUN!!!!0

I had two people in the same week ask me if I had that surgery0

I've had so many... but I think the most important one is this:
Even though I sat for 2 months with the SCALE back and forth between the same 2 or 3 pounds up and down... basically on a plateau... I did not give up. I continued to exercise. I researched ways to break the plateau in a healthy fashion. I mentally smashed the scale, but I stayed STRONG. I did not falter in my eating, logging, or exercising. I never gave up on myself. Finding the strength within yourself to say "oh well, what would change if I just 'gave up'..." that is big.0 -
Well I had been pretty bummed with the results on the scale lately but I have been feeling ten times healthier. Anyway, I have been doing Power 90 for about three weeks and, as silly as this sounds, when I was doing crunches the other day when I brought my legs up I was shocked, not exagerating by the way, to see definitition in my legs. This is a big NSV for me because even when I was in my best shape, my legs were always kind of pudgy - I could barely ever make out the shape of my knees;-)0

I did my first 5K run/walk a couple weeks ago. Pretty awesome since I had been telling myself my knees were too bad to run. The key really is to just try. Today I did 2.7 miles in my best time so far. It motivates me to keep working at it and see just how far this old body can take me!0

My mom keeps telling me "your face is getting slimmer!"
My 36" pants are too big
I can see in the mirror my gut is smaller and flatter
My belt is almost out of holes
I passed on two boxes of fresh doughnuts at work from my fav bakery!!!!!! That was a huge moment for me.0
