My husband lifted me up off the floor for the first time ever last night! And even jumped up and down! I have always felt bad sitting on his lap or leaning on him but no worries anymore. We found out because I lifted him up (he weighs 210 and is muscular, I work as an aide and reguarly transfer an obese lady alone) to prove I am strong and I said one day i'll be one of those girls you can lift and spin around... He said "honey you have lost a lot" and lifted me like it was nothing! Grin.

    Congratulations! Great NSV !
It is amazing how something like that is something that we are so self conscience about and others just take it for granted. I hate it when anyone tries to pick me up. I was always the biggest of my friends -always on the bottom of pyramids or piggy backs.

How wonderful! What a great story. I'm kind of new, though, so I have to ask, what does NSV stand for? :embarassed:
