My husband I go there and it's decent and works for us.

He used to go to a gym that my sister worked at which is a lot nicer than the PF, has aerobic classes, the free weight options are better -- heavier dumb bells, preloaded bars etc -- however my sister was charging me $11 for a day pass when I would go with my husband when I worked from home once a week or had a day off which was a few times a month. Not only that but she made sure that I paid the fee by hunting down the front desk person and asking if I paid (meanwhile they all knew she was my sister and were ok with letting me in for free but whatever).

So any way, it was way more expensive and the fact that I had to pay every time was a downer so now he pays $19/month, has free tanning and I get to go for free as well. We've been going for a while now and like I said it suits our needs. While he's not a fan of the weights ending at 65lbs he's also not a power lifter and isn't looking to compete or anything like that so it's fine for him.

i have a membership. i do the 20 bucks a month one. i can bring a guest anytime and its 24hr. i love it!!!!! i go early morning so theres hardly anyone there. its like my own gym. you can get a sorta semi personal trainning throughout the week. the trainers usually start classes every hour for a different body part or muscle group. they take i think about 5 people at a time. the good thing is rarely do people take advantage of this so youd probaly be the only one (personal trainning). its great for self starters who just want ot get it done. low key atmosphere music is not to bad. with the 10 dollar plan theres no contract so youve got nothing to loose. give it a try! oh if you do decide to join join at the end of the month the joiners fee is pro rated so youd end up coming outta pocket with about 20 bucks maybe

    good luck

I've had my PF membership for a few years, and I like it a lot.

The pros: great price, great hours, and I like the relaxed atmosphere.
The cons: it's bare bones. If you're looking for classes, look elsewhere (they're recently started regular mini-sessions--a half hour or so--with trainers, but it's not the same as a structured class)

If you're looking to get in, work out, and get home, and you're an independent exerciser, this gym will be great. If you're looking for classes or a little more external support, you might need to keep shopping around or supplement the membership with another class (I also take yoga, where I get more personal attention).

I've had a PF membership for almost 3 years now. It's perfect for what I need. I don't want or need classes or anything fancy, so it works fine for me. I pay $10 per month and get every single penny's worth!

If you get the $19/month membership you get access to any PF in the US.
