I would say don't eat a lot of fats and carbs, but not necessarily cut them out all together. You need to stick to a good ratio. I did p90x and gained some muscle mass, but mostly lost fat. I added 45 minutes of extra cardio 3 days a week and was on a 50%protein/30%carb/20%fat diet at no more than 1800 calories a day. Like one person said, there's no need to spend so much time in the gym. I would do cardio in the morning and weight lift later in the day because i had the time to. I can show you before and after pics and show an example of my workout schedule if that would help you. Depends on what your goals are really.

There is no specific food you should avoid. Aim for 1g of protein per pound of lean body mass, and .3-.5g of fat per pound of body weight.

Anything that might give you the squirts while you squat.

This. IIFYM eat it......I know some people that lift heavy and hard and they actually take in more carbs then protein. It is all dependent on what you want out of your body and the shape that you want.

I would say just trim down the calories. If I don't eat enough carbs I get too weak at the gym to lift what I want to. So, I think it's all in the calories and macro ratio.

    EAT FOOD!!

Personally, I find I have more energy when I eat whole natural foods. But that doesn't mean that I don't eat "unhealthy" foods on occasion too.

I try to stay away from anything with overly high sodium, as my body doesn't like it. Other than that, there isn't a specific food that I won't ever eat.

I was assuming that the corn was used for his post-workout insulin spike.

Avoid gnu testicles. They'll make you bulky.

Otherwise, just eat what you love and maintain a reasonable caloric deficit (1/2 lb per week if you're using the MFP settings).
