Hi I need to find out if a person could add housework, cooking, desk work etc as part of their daily exercise to calculate calories used.
And how does it work? My BMI said that i use 1500 cal a day, this is in resting mode. What if i don't exercise but do alot of housework standing at work, desk work etc? Does my BMI change and if not where would i calculate these activities? Please help as i am new to this site and want to do things as acurate as possible. Thanks

Hey there
In the exercise options, you can select things like housework, although I don't know about standing. Desk work would probably be considered sedentary.
What you should add depends on the activity level you set when you set up MFP. If you said sedentary, then you can probably add any activity as exercise. If you said you were lightly active (taking into account housework and the like), then you shouldn't log these activities as exercise.
Best of luck with your weight-loss goals!0
