Fitbit for Aussies

Hello All!!

Any Aussies out there have a Fitbit? I'm thinking of getting one... Tell me all the pros and cons of this product! Where should I get it from?

    I'm also looking into getting one. Though it is my birthday soon so I am hoping someone will gift me one instead of me havign to go buy one, ehehe!

    I'm an Aussie and I have one. Best money ever spent! It motivates me to move more which is exactly what I need to make this a lifestyle change, not just a quick fix! The only down side is that you can't access the free iphone app because it's not available through the Aussie iTunes store. Otherwise, no negatives!

    i am in AU, and my wife and i have a fitbit and we love them!!

    we have had them about a month and they are so simple to use!!

    they can really add to your motivation seeing how many steps you take a day , you get badges for the more activity you do.

    it can automatically adjust the calories burned in MFP if you want ( or you can change it if you know it was different) we do both.

    you can set it like a stop watch to record a particular activity like your gym workout or sleeping and then it gives you greater information for that session, even if you dont set it , it will still know your running or working out , it just wont be recorded as a set activity.

    they are great & highly recommended as tool to help,

    two thing to watch out for

    they arent waterproof so dont forget to take it off your clothes!

    you will get bummed out when you forget to put it on ! hahahah :)
