how has losing weight changed you?

are you a different person? or are you the same person? Do you think you have changed since losing weight for the better or worse?

the only thing i noticed since losing weight im more of a b****. being overweight meant i had to try harder to be happy and jollie and for people to like me but now i just dont care, and i feel bitter towards people who treated me differently because of my weight.im not saying thats a good thing but its what i noticed since losing!

I haven't lost much weight yet but one thing I am loving more than losing is weight is my face. I have stop eating junk food and fried food and my acne is totally clearing up. I have cystic acne so this is a great achievement for me because those are painful. I think I am more excited about that then my weight dropping, haha.

I'm more stressed and b****y than usual. I'm limiting the food I want to eat instead of just eating them. Hard to tell from my diary, but I'd rather eat all those Pillbury bunny cookies instead of 2 a day.
  • I feel that I have become much more insecure in my appearance. When I was heavier I didn't much care about my appearance but now I'm constantly checking and asking about it. I think I'm starting to annoy my friends with it.

I am maintaining now and lost 30 pounds total, so it wasn't as large of an amount that many people on MFP have lost. I went from a size 14 (US) to a size 6/8.

The biggest change is how easy it is to get dressed in the morning for work. I used to try on different things and get frustrated because that pair of pants made my but look big, those pants make my hips look huge, this shirt doesn't camouflage my gut well enough, etc. Now I just grab clothes that match and put them on, knowing my butt won't look huge no matter what I wear

The pros: I am more confident in how I look and that affects the way I carry myself
I am more fit and have less aches than I used to (I used to get pain in my hip flexor- no more!)

The cons: I end up thinking about food more than I want to (how many calories are in X)
Eating out even for a cheat meal isn't as enjoyable when I know I have a 1200 calorie meal sitting in front of me!

Other than that, I am the same old me.

exactly that! i only cared to hide my body and never wanted to think about it but now im look at my tummy in the mirror 2-3 times a day, keep checking my chin and always have to ask my husband and mum if i look thinner or if my abs show e.t.c and i have to try and stop because im sure they are fed up of me!
