I don't do this, and right now I'm recovering from an injury, but I would go to sleep in my gym clothes, or at least my T shirt and have my workout gear laid out. I also would have a coffee maker with a timing device that would have coffee ready when I arose.

If I'm trying to work out, especially morning, I need things to be very easy; any little obstacle and I back down.

    Hi,

I have the same problem. I despise mornings and find it really hard to wake up. Add to that the fact that I work afternoons/evenings and I end up sleeping in and beating myself up for it every day.

The only thing that I have found to get me up in time is to make some type of appointment I can't miss for 8 or 9am. I try to push myself to go to bed earlier (by midnight) but then lay in bed for hours awake. If I force myself to wake up for the appointment, then I end up crashing earlier that night (by midnight). The only way I can do it is to force myself into a routine.

Also, sometimes I roll onto my back when I know I need to get up. I can't sleep that way, so I end up laying there until I get up.

I'm sorry I'm not much help; still working on this one, but you're not alone!
