Biggest tip is to stick with it. It will take a long time to get to your goal but you'll never get there if you don't stick with it.
  • You will find lots of support and great information. I love how people are willing to share what works and does not work for them! Feel free to add me as support. You can do it !

Do the best that you can to stick to your goals- I know there are a lot of people that eat "clean" only, but I just make sure to eat certain things in moderation only. I drink lots of water, I cut out all soda, and I exercise at least 5 days a week. If you're just starting out, even walking is better than nothing.

Feel free to add me if you'd like :)
  • You can add me. I can always use more motivational friends!

Some things you might find helpful: Don't skip breakfast or drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day. Take it slow and think of this as a journey to a healthy lifestyle, not a diet to lose weight. Read labels on your groceries and look up calories before you eat out. Menu planning is a big help. If you have in mind what you're going to eat for the day it really helps keep you from grabbing something unhealthy. Don't give up! You are very young and this is a great thing you are doing that will benefit the rest of your life. Feel free to add me if you like and good luck on this journey!

    Welcome!

If you haven't yet, have a look at some of the threads in the diet/fitness sections of the forums - I've learnt a heck of a lot from them and made some good friends already!

Feel free to add me too

    :-)

Welcome... you can add me as a friend... I've found that having the app on my phone really helps with tracking my food. Either right before I eat or after I log my meal... I don't wait until later because of my busy schedule I may very well forget what I ate. Don't let haters get under your skin... keep at it.. get your mind set and just do it. Get some stuff in front of you that you are aiming for... Me I had this very jean dress that I'm wearing as a goal to get in and I'm in it. So next is another dress... keep it in front of you... Vision of want you want for you.
