This is supposed to be a positive website and I've noticed there are some bitter and bored people who take the time out to post cynical, irrelevent replies to people's posts and/or questions. If you are not directly replying to the question or post topic, then please don't pick fights.
Is anyone else annoyed by this?
Jeez!

Yes, but unfortunately they aren't going to stop. So just ignore them.0

I think they call them trolls?
 And yes. Horribly annoyed.0

It's the best defense against idiotic posts and those who can't be bothered to learn how to use the internet (i.e., search, read, absorb, then ask an intelligent question).0

What you call cynical, I call not being a fool.
 To each it's own.0

Annoyed? No. Entertained? Hell yes.Is anyone else annoyed by this?0

            Sorry.
You're a wonderful, perfect and amazing human being just because you signed up for a weightloss website. Everyone should always tell everyone how great they are. It simply isn't possible that anyone on MFP could be.. I don't know.. WRONG about something! That's hate speech.
 That weight come off yet?0

Love the negative about the negativity threads. You should just read everything while riding a unicorn across a green field littered with rainbow poo and the air full of glittery rainbow farts! Why...are....people...so...mean *booo hooo* I just....want...everybody....to....love me! *hic*0

            You call it cynical.

The best way to make us stop is to post a thread about it.
 I MEAN THEM NOT US0

I get what you're saying. I posed a question earlier to which no one answered. If you know you're going to be offended by something in a thread just by the title, why go into it? To go in and find something you don't like, state how offended you are, make some ridiculing remarks, then report it?0

If you're going to be cynical you may as well try and be the best at it, so taking time out shows real dedication
